MB-E series and MBR-E series of MHI- main marine boilers are extensively used on various types of ships. The pressure part of the boiler adopts the self-supporting ladder structure, which makes even expansion in all directions, and no partial stress concentration will occur. In addition, it adopts the structure of fully burning heavy oil or fuel based on long-term experience and research findings. The whole combustion chamber is designed as of water wall structure; heat and steam will not leak out. Coaming structure is also very simple and it is convenient for maintenance.
MHI- main marine boiler is extremely reliable and safe. It serves as environmental friendly pusher engine and provides best performance to the users.
CST series (Non-reheating marine main boiler (MB-E series)
CST series marine main boiler adopts double-header boiler. With rich manufacturing experience, CST series is currently used as pusher engine for LNG transport ship. Due to its very high reliability and safety, it is highly evaluated by customers.
UST series (reheating marine main boiler
UST series (MBRE series) marine main boiler is reheater-separated double-furnace boiler. So even in non-reheating operation, it only needs to discontinuously reheat burner to prevent from burning out reheating tube. In addition, the structures of main combustion chamber and wall are all as of CST series, so it can keep high reliability and safety. Also, the most sophisticated performance, construction, and material technology for marine min boiler are used on it.
MHI owns rich experience in manufacturing land use and marine boilers. UST (MBR-E series) boilers unreservedly introduced the latest boiler technology, reliable boiler design and manufacturing skills, realized high performance and high reliability. It is MHI’s most advanced marine boiler.
